As a raw material for production of biodiesel they use rapeseed oil, sunflower-seed oil, palm-oil and other vegetable oils, and also animal fats.
Required characteristics of raw material for production of biodiesel:
- Fat content – 35-50%;
- Contamination – >1%;
- Water content – >1%.
Biodiesel derived after the process on equipment EXON is a pure biodiesel (B-100). In can be used for filling tractors and trucks. For filling cars biodiesel must be mixed with mineral diesel fuel or may require certain engine modifications to avoid maintenance and performance problems.
